I am passionate about helping people learn how to express themselves musically.

After spending years teaching piano I grew frustrated with what was available to teach people about the piano. My main concern was with chords. The structure of most chord books makes them extremely cumbersome to use. Why do I need to flip from page to page to learn to play one song? Couldn't it be arranged in such a way that all the chords of a song would be on one page? The answer is yes.

You see, most songs are written in a single key, which means that all the chords that are used come from that same key. I decided to create my own chord book, A Piano Chord Book You Can Actually Use!, that would be arranged with this in mind.

After completing the book I began to consider making videos on YouTube. As I looked over what was available I was again disappointed. Much of what is out there contains far too much useless information. I decided to make a series of lessons that would be short and to the point. This would allow people to make their own path in learning, focusing on those things which are of interest to them and leaving out those points which are not.

A little about me personally: I am a father of 4 and work full time as a teacher. I am also the Lead Pastor of The Neighborhood Vineyard Church in Rancho Cucamonga, California. I received my BA in music composition and am actively involved in leading worship at local churches and prayer meetings.
